The Castle is a sittuated on the northeastern coast of Corfu overseeing the fishing village of Kassiopi. It was one of three Byzantine-period castles that defended the island before the Venetian era (1386-1797). The castles formed a defensive triangle, with Gardiki guarding the island’s south, Kassiopi the northeast and Angelokastro the northwest.

Porto Timoni – Afionas
Located next to the Village Afionas and it is a narrow strip of land that separates two of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu . The water is crystal clear and the beaches are covered by pebbles . One peculiarity is that each beach has a different temperature so you can choose on which of the two you will make your dive . The path that comes from the village is well walked. During this walk you will be able to enjoy the view of the bay of St. George and a little later the view of the cape . It is worth staying up late to Porto Timoni to admire the sunset from the beach.
